PROFESSIONAL STAFF

(staff responsible for professional programs)
Our team is responsible for the vocational program of Pszinapszis, so all the lectures and workshops belong to us, either Hungarian or English, chatting or own experience, live or video conference, held by a respected professional or a student. We also cover the orientaion counsel, the info-wall and the poster-section, where you can read about psychological or related field trainings in Hungary and experiments of young talents. We start our work in October with brainstorming about topics of lectures and workshops, producing houndreds of ideas to make sure that only the best ones will get on the program. After putting the last piece to it’s place, begins the next phase of our work: materializing our ideas. That’s when we contact the lecturers with our topic- and title-suggestions, ready to compromise. We also greet them on site, when the date of their lecture or workshop arrives, we announce them to the audience and help to make their stay smooth and pleasant. Our enthusiastic team has 15 members this year and is led by Alíz Komjáthy and Irma Kovács. If you have any questions about the professional program, don’t hesitate to contact us!

CULTURAL STAFF

(staff responsible for cultural programs)
During the 3 days of Pszinapszis we can get to know the happenings of the world and our own inner life. In such a situation we are more sensitive to signals, coming either from inside or outside. Here we might get a different, deeper experience of arts than on other rushing weekdays. That’s what the cultural staff is there to help you with. Exhibitions – where we present you the winning creations of young artists inspired by our headtitle – bring freshness to the cavalcade, In the Cinema you can watch the best short movies of our competition. We also show you how we, members of the organizing team see our own paths, mazes – just take a look into our photo-exhibition. The well-known and popular programs are also available in 2010. The Relax Room is open to everyone who needs some rest between lectures. You can do this while listening to relaxing music, enjoying a nice massage, doing yoga or colouring mandalas. On the corridors you can find the members of our graphologist-team, who read your handwriting through the specs of psychology, and the books of Living Library, who can help you to face your prejudices through a nice chat. You can get more information about residents of the Civil Street, who have an important effect on the community. After the exciting lecures and workshops of the day we invite you to stay a bit longer and loose up with funny and relaxing performances or tune for the night with concerts – to close a memorable day according to your mood.

HR STAFF

(Organizers on Site)
HR Staff supports the optimal procession of Pszinapszis. Greeting and informing visitors are among our duties. During the 3 days we provide our guests with their tickets, books, tea, information and a pleasant stay. Our Bookstore is awaiting everyone who is interested in psychological books and also students, seeking compulsory literature for their courses. In the Experience Room you can find exciting games and challenges, and if you need some rest, we gladly serve you some tea in the Teahouse. Effective information flow is supported by our members behind the information desk, the registration and ticket-selling counters.
Organizers responsible for workshops at outside locations are also our members. We organize the work of the 9-hour helpers aswell. Being a member of our Staff equals spinning aroung, good team spirit and fun! :)

PR and MARKETING STAFF

(Staff responsible for resources and audience organization)
Our job is to popularize Pszinapszis throughout the year, to inform the media about the event and to provide all the financial resources needed. For reaching this goal, we contact different firms and companies to establish two-sided sponsorship. We try to extend our financial limits by submitting applications. We make phonecalls, write tons of e-mails and keep waiting for answers. Besides sponsorship, we also work on audience organization, to make the people hear about us on a wider channel. We publish artikels, inform press ports, organize appearances. We are reasponsible for abroad marketing, to reach as many people beyond our borders as possible. During the 3 days of Pszinapszis we greet the VIP guests, our sponsors and media representatives. Beside all these, we keep in touch with our visitors, surveying their demands to make the event even better for next year. If you have any questions or requests, don’t hesitate to turn to us.

TECHNICAL STAFF

(Staff responsible for technical support)
The duty of Technical Staff is to install all the devices and make them work reliably during the 3 days. Under optimal circumstances, we and our activity is invisible for the visitors. Still, our team is providing secure background for the others, from transporting and assembling electronic devices, designing and servicing our website, catering of organizers.

9-HOUR HELPERS


Our festival couldn’t be organized without the unselfish help of the students nicked „9-hours”. They are mostly psychology-students, who are not members of any official staffs but accomplish their duties in close cooperation with them. They serve 9 hours to help the organizers making everything as smooth as possible.
